Junior analyst supports financial advisors and other team members by preparing investment reviews and proposals for current and prospective clients. Works with advisors in providing probabilistic (Monte Carlo) analysis to help clients and prospects gain a better understanding of their life and investment goals and the likelihood of achievement.

Junior analyst is required to stay up to date with changes in client portfolios, firm software and research pieces, and commentary from throughout the industry.

-          Use firm based software programs to prepare investment performance reports and goals based analyses.

-          Prepare charts and models to help illustrate each client’s investment portfolio.

-          Create spreadsheets that indicate when client portfolio is in need of rebalancing to better align with their target allocation.

-          Work with advisors and strategists to determine changes that need to be made within client portfolios.

-          Analyze compensation structures for corporate executives.

-          Produce reports that help clients plan for educational costs in the future.

-          IRA rollover analysis

-          Construct team marketing and other collateral materials.

-          Attend asset management meetings to be familiar with portfolio constituents.

From the CREW Network Foundation website:

The CREW Network Foundation (Commercial Real Estate) scholarship program supports future female leaders as they pursue university-level education that will lead to careers in commercial real estate. With the help of our generous donors, Scholarship Endowment Founders and scholarship program partners, CBRE and PGIM Real Estate, we were able to award fifteen (15) $5,000 academic scholarships to young women in 2016. To date, CREW Network and its Foundation have awarded 91 scholarships totaling $685,000.

Candidate Requirements:

  • must be a female
  • must be a full-time junior, senior or graduate (2017-2018 academic year)
  • must have a minimum 3.0 GPA on a 4.0 scale
  • must be a citizen of the United States or Canada
  • must be enrolled at an accredited college or university
  • focus of study is included in one or more of the CREW Network Qualified Fields of Commercial Real Estate (QFCRE)

Barclays is partnering with ModernGuild to offer ambitious, talented freshmen the chance to participate in an exclusive four-week training program that will help them learn the skills needed for a successful career in investment banking or sales and trading. Participants spend several hours a week in one-on-one virtual training sessions with a coach working on rapid skill-acquisition exercises and networking with Barclays’ professionals. The result? The ETF Global Portfolio Challenge is a web-based simulated investment challenge designed to serve as a fun and educational tool intended to help educate students about investing in Exchange-Traded-Products. Through the Challenge's website, investors will construct a portfolio utilizing between four and ten ETPs using a virtual endorsement of one hundred thousand dollars ($100,000). Players will attempt to pick the top-performing portfolios of ETFs. Each participant will compete on the investment performance of their respective virtual portfolio.
